An investment firm with an established history

Capital A is an investment firm with an established history. The team of Capital A was responsible for midmarket private equity within ABN AMRO and is formerly known as ABN AMRO Participaties. In 2018 the investment team spun off from ABN AMRO and rebranded into Capital A. ABN AMRO remains an important investor in all current funds. Other fund investors are: AlpInvest, LGT, Five Arrows, and Bregal.

The focus and approach remained unchanged. Capital A invests in companies in the Netherlands and Belgium that have a strong growth outlook (whether autonomous or acquisitive). Our participations mainly consist of large minority or small majority stakes – we always emphasise partnership with our management teams.
 
The current investment portfolio consists of over 30 growth businesses. We do not have a specific focus regarding business sectors as growth and entrepreneurship are the most important criteria for us. It is our mission to work closely with all our management teams in order to realise the next growth phase of a company.
